iEXCHANGE®
- Log into iEXCHANGE.
- Select AFMC as the "Payer."
- Click on the purple "Search" box to the far right of the options provided.
- Select "Treatment Search."
- For "Search Type," choose "Treatment Range." (You may also search by request ID number, such as A112840802, or by member name; the best choice is to do "Treatment Search" using date range or request ID number.)
- Set the "Start Date" and the "End Date" for the quarter you want to search, such as 04/01/2011 to 07/15/2011. (This will cover the current quarterly selection of April to June.)
- Leave "Request Type" as "Show Inpatient, Other, Prior Auth and Referral Treatments" and as "All Requests."
- On "Authorized Provider(s)," open the dropdown box and choose your facility. (Only your facility and/or other authorized providers under your provider will appear.)
- Click "Submit Search."
- The screen will display "Treatment Search Summary," which you can print if necessary.
- To attach an electronic medical record, click "View Details," and scroll to the bottom of the page to the box labeled "Request Attachments."
- Please title all attached records by the request ID number listed on the case listing or as noted at the top of the "Treatment Search Details" box, i.e. A112840802.
- You will need to have all request ID-named electronic documents out in a folder ready for attachment prior to attaching them in iEXCHANGE. (This will save you time once you are in iEXCHANGE and attaching records.)
- Once you have completed your browse for the electronic record, click "Attach"; iEXCHANGE will prompt you through the process and allow you to move to the next request.
